Sonic the Hedgehog X Cuphead

     It was a coincidence...honestly.

Many gaming historians will know the history of Sonic the Hedgehogs design and can confirm his design is loosely based on Mickey Mouse. Thus this Vintage the Hedgehog design happening isn't that surprising: -

Would've been a perfect drop during the initial Cuphead hype, although there is a slight problem....: -

I'd personally argue "Vintage the Hedgehog" fall's perfectly under Fair Use Law, however, unless you have the legal muscle, the internet will distort things (as expected). So I decided to create a more unique design, that definitely[?!] will not encounter any aggressive digital assaults: -

Introducing

Vintage the Cloudhog!

This version is pretty much Sonic the Hedgehog x Cuphead x The Clouds from Toy Story (The Wallpaper specifically). Although the direct eye catching reference is nowhere near as strong, the iconic hedgehog spikes are not longer present, now giving Vintage his own unique "Cloudhog" aesthetic.

Shadeprint.Design x Threadless

Shadeprint designs are now exclusively moving to Threadless!

All of my old work will remain on Redbubble, Society6, Zazzle & Tee-Spring. However new designs and upgrades will now all exclusively appear on Threadless.

Why move over to Threadless?

Redbubble has gone from unrewarding, to decent, to detrimental. They're pretty much "Youtube" for Apparel. If you want to deal with them, expect disappointment and a little torment, "copyright" takedowns are even more aggressive than Youtube, with less to go by (literal tags can warrant a takedown, sometimes nothing), although I've won in a few cases, Redbubble expects you to go through the entire publishing process after deleting (not suspending) an entry with a claim on it.

What's new?

My new Threadless Store will host higher quality designs and new exclusive pieces. Starting from scratch will be difficult, but things are working well so far with the publishing process. The Store is currently live CHECK IT OUT HERE!

Threadless doesn't appear to have has much search engine pulling power as Redbubble, however the uploading process is far better than Tee Spring and Society6 (quite unfortunately). Anyway, expect more updates via the Blog to snare some interest from potential customers.

"MF Qarz"

MF Qarz/Qart Hedgeson

The internet is a funny place. This design was originally named "MF Qarz".

However, it was probably too on the nose for the copyright sharks.

Re-named to Qart Hedgeson, this mash up of "MF DOOM", "Sonic the Hedgehog", "Quasimoto" and "Bart Simpson" shouldn't have gotten such a rough take down

due to just how ridiculous the amalgamation is....and such obvious parody too.

Qart could always use more love, so check this design out it is currently available on a tonne of products via Redbubble.

Wanting to get the most of these designs, multiple editions were a must.

Mixing my collage art with my pencil art seemed to fit perfectly.

Actually, come to think of it, there does appear to be missing styles

that would fit perfectly in place with this design....
